All MU Online Maps — Towns, Dungeons & Event Zones
Every zone in MU Online has a job. Towns keep you safe, hunting fields feed you XP, dungeons hide the nasty stuff, and arenas host events like Blood Castle, Devil Square and Chaos Castle. Under the hood, each one is just a map ID plus an attribute (ATT) layout file — the file that tells the server where you can walk, where monsters spawn and where the safe zone ends.
This table is built from SilverMU's own server files, so it shows exactly which MU Online maps exist here on the Season 22 realm. And because it mirrors the live config, as new update zones like Raklion of Oblivion and the Elite Zones roll out on the server, they show up in this list automatically. Each entry tells you the zone's role and where it sits on the leveling curve, so you can sort MU Online hunting maps by level and pick your next grinding spot before you jump in-game.
- Scan the complete map table — every ID from Lorencia (0) up to the newest endgame zones.
- Spot tiered event maps that run several stages of Blood Castle or Devil Square on one shared layout.
- Match a zone's role and progression band to your character, then check the events page and our guides for what to do there.
How to Read the Map Table
- Map Number
- The game engine tracks every zone by a number, not a name. 0 – Lorencia, 1 – Dungeon, 2 – Devias, 3 – Noria — those are the classic low IDs. Whenever a warp, event or server script sends your character somewhere, it targets one of these numbers.
- Map Name
-
Each zone is listed under the same name SilverMU uses on its rankings, character pages and
warp page, so
11_BloodCastle.attshows up as Blood Castle 1 to Blood Castle 8, one row per map ID. Map IDs that point at the emptyNull.attlayout, or that nothing on the server leads to (no gate, monster spawn or instance entry), are left out. - Role / Type
- Every zone gets one tag so you instantly know what it is for: Town / safe zone, Instanced event / dungeon, Monster hunting field / leveling map, Boss arena / raid map, PvP arena / duel map, Field / event map and Quest / scenario map. Use the role filter below to pull up only the type you need.
- Attribute File (ATT)
-
Think of the
.attfile as a zone's floor plan. It marks which tiles you can step on, where walls block you, where the no-PK safe area sits and where gates and event triggers live. Several map IDs can point at one file — that is how the many levels of Blood Castle and Chaos Castle reuse a single layout. - Shared ATT Count
- Counts how many map IDs run on the same layout file. A number above 1 almost always means a tiered event — Devil Square and Blood Castle are the classic cases. For server tinkerers it is also a warning: touch one shared file and every map linked to it changes too.

Map questions players ask
- How does travel between MU Online maps work?
- Use the in-game warp window, walk through the gates that connect neighbouring fields, or talk to travel NPCs in town. Behind the scenes, each option targets a map ID plus a set of coordinates — the same IDs shown in the table above. Event zones like Blood Castle and Devil Square open through their own NPCs on a schedule instead; the events page shows when.
- What is a map ID in MU Online?
- It is the number the game engine uses to tell zones apart: Lorencia is 0, Dungeon is 1, Devias is 2 and Noria is 3. Warps, scripts and events all point at these numbers rather than at names — which is exactly why this page pairs every ID with a clean, readable map name.
- Why do some MU Online maps share one layout file?
- Tiered events recycle their geometry. Every level of Blood Castle plays out in the same castle — only the monsters, entry rules and rewards change per tier. Rather than store the same floor plan many times over, the server points several map IDs at a single ATT file. Glance at the Shared ATT column: anything above 1 is almost always a multi-stage event.
